Privacy Policy

Top1% (the "App", available at top1percent-app.vercel.app and on Google Play) is operated by Jose Pingo (Pingo Development), the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. Contact: j.pingo.development@gmail.com.

• Account data: your email address and a password (stored only as a secure hash by our authentication provider).
• Photos you upload: the front and/or back body photos you choose to submit.
• Generated content: the AI-generated images of your three levels (Top 50%, Top 20%, Top 1%).
• Body composition estimate: an approximate visual body-fat percentage and apparent sex estimated by AI from your photo, and the three target values calculated from it. This is not a medical measurement.
• Usage data: the number of transformations you create (to apply daily and monthly limits) and basic technical logs needed to run and secure the service.

We do not collect your location, contacts, or advertising identifiers, and we do not show ads.

• To create your account and let you log in.
• To estimate your body fat and generate your transformation images — the core feature you request.
• To store your transformation history so you can view it on any device.
• To enforce usage limits and prevent abuse.

We process your photos only to provide the service you asked for. We do not use them for advertising, we do not sell them, and we do not use them to train our own AI models. The legal basis is the performance of the service you request and, for photos, your explicit consent, which you give before each generation and can withdraw at any time by deleting your data.

We rely on the following providers, who process data on our behalf and only to deliver the App:

• Supabase — authentication, database and private photo storage (hosted in the European Union).
• Vercel — hosting of the web app and its server functions.
• OpenAI and Google (Gemini API) — AI processing of your photo to estimate body fat and generate the images. Photos are sent to these providers only at the moment of generation.

Some providers may process data outside your country, including in the United States, under appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.

Your photos and generated images are stored in a private storage area that only your account can access, and are transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS). We keep your data for as long as your account exists. When you delete a transformation, its photos and images are deleted; when you delete your account, all your data is deleted.

You can delete any single transformation from its result screen at any time.

You can delete your account and all associated data from the App (Dashboard → account menu → Delete account) or on the web at top1percent-app.vercel.app/delete-account. You can also email us at j.pingo.development@gmail.com from the address linked to your account.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your data, to object to or restrict its processing, and to withdraw consent. To exercise them, contact us at the email above. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

The App is intended for users aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.

The images generated by Top1% are an AI simulation for illustrative and motivational purposes only. They are not a promise of results and not medical advice.

We may update this policy. We will post the new version on this page and update the date above.
